As an editor, I have had numerous opportunities to work with hundreds of media-makers to identify important stories and deliver impactful and ambitious journalism for all kinds of audiences. I’ve managed a number of teams of reporters producing educational, investigative and enterprise stories covering culture, politics, gender, health, education, criminal justice, climate, and money. I have a strong track record of managing teams and inspiring, energizing and mentoring journalists at every level of their career.
In addition to my extensive editorial experience, I’ve run quite a few media and journalism fellowship programs, designing the mechanics and curriculum, from application and selection process to daily operations and mentorship. I’ve also curated successful programming for professional development and training opportunities to help storytellers excel in their craft, advance in their personal growth and effectively advocate for themselves in this industry.
